In full bloom

As they entered the area the warrior looked back at her for a moment before letting himself move towards the den that was hers. His motions had become much slower throughout the process of carrying her, it was not that she was heavy, but his body still ached from the night before. Carefully he spoke his mind, the humming ceasing with the words. "I apologize for the near miss of the tree, and I hope your paw gets better soon. If you need anything just let me know, food, water, anything." With that being said he slid himself down to the ground, his main portion of the body flattening into the grass as his ears fell back, letting out a grunt as his chest pressed to the ground.

"However it was a pleasure getting to spend some time with you." That was the last comment he made to her before slowly standing once more so he could draw back and away. Zetos turned swiftly moving forward and in the opposite direction of the female, she would be fine for now now that she was back in the dens area. He would wait at his den for the time being as they both needed rest, if she needed anything and called out he would be able to respond. His tail swung happily behind him with the thought of the night before, he had enjoyed the females presence and her warm body against his, maybe she would allow such an event to occur again one day, though this time without her life being in danger or threatened.

As he dropped her off at her den, she remained silent for some time, carefully climbing off of his back and limping forward the lay in it's entrance. Once she had laid down, she lifted her head, watching him retreat to his own den as he said that she could call if she needed anything. "Zetos..." She said softly, raising her voice a bit as he got further away. She paused for another moment, waiting until he turned around or at least paused to continue. "...thank you." She added softly at the end, ears flattening to the side and head lowering slightly. It wasn't easy for her to say thank you, but she really was grateful that he'd saved her, not once, but twice so far.

After she spoke, she slowly lowered her head to rest on her non-injured paw and close her eyes. She was tired, and though he'd carried her the entire way back, the loss of blood and the bruising to her side and ribs was really draining her. She'd sleep for a little, but she'd need to get to the lake at some point to clean her paw up properly, not to mention bandage it in some fashion. But for now, she would sleep. With one more drowsy look over at the dark male that had saved her, the white and gray female drifted off to sleep.
