Casanova had snuck into the packlands again, slipping under the noses of the alpha and beta, and now a new male that smelled strangely like the alpha. But he was here for another reason. The pack females were in heat, and well, he couldn't control himself. He had been wandering around the pack lands for a while now, and he had made his way to the moonlight meadow, where he now moved in the shadows, keeping an eye out on the open for any signs of a threatening male or an inviting female. He knew his scent was all over the place, since he had been hanging around here for a while, so if a male approached, he'd need to book it out of there before he got caught. But for now, he was hoping that a female arrived, and one that was welcoming instead of aggressive.

((Laek continued - with small time lapse: https://incendio.rpg-board.net/t80p75-long-lost-recently-found-acceptance#1451 ))

Laek felt good with the pack now, as she had both learned of everyone, and everywhere. She was as proper as a hunter should be. Looking out from the little den she'd sometimes sleep in, she was a bit bored. It wasn't too crazy around the dens this day, and as night was falling, shadows fell along everything. Silverlight was beautiful in every time of day to Laek, she learned in her time here. Her personal favorite places were the springs, and the meadows, both especially in the night. She crawled out of her den and headed in the direction of the meadow, about to enjoy the time of loneliness she desired very rarely.

But yet, today the meadow had a strange feel to them. Laek didn't feel as alone as she'd hoped. Warily, she'd walked a quarter of the way through the meadow when she finally caught his scent. She smiled, knowing that it was only Casanova lurking. "I know you're out there!" she called out as she sat. She swished her tail, slightly worried that they would both get in trouble out here. But she tried to rid her mind of the thought, hopeful to see Casanova again.

Suddenly a scent wafted up into his nose, a female scent. But there was something strangely familiar about this scent, and he smiled, wagging his tail as she called out to him. "Busted." He said, stepping out of the shadows to where she could see him. "Hey there beautiful." He said, surprising himself with the fact that the flirtatious comment that he was so used to dishing out was actually true in his mind, this time. He smiled as he came closer to her, nudging her shoulder and sitting down beside her. "Long time, no see. I've missed you." He said, once again surprised to mean it. But he let the thoughts linger in the back of his mind, looking down at her with a grin as he wagged his tail, simply enjoying the moment.

Laek smiled as he came over and sat beside her. Not only was the meadow beautiful at night, but she would get to spend some time with Casanova, whom she hadn't seen in quite a while. She nuzzled against his neck for a moment before saying, "I've missed you too." Her message was short and simple, but it portrayed her emotion well as they stood there. She rose her head and looked up at him, tilting her head slightly. "But what are you doing here? So deep in pack territory? Aren't you afraid that the Beta and Alpha will find you?" She chuckled lightly as she gave a playful push.

Cas grinned as she asked him about getting caught. "Oh Laek, you know me. Life's no fun if there isn't an aspect of danger and adventure to it." He said, nipping at her ear playfully. It was the scent of the pack females that drew him into the lands, but also the opportunity to see this little female again. He wagged his tail, looking over at her with a smile. "Plus, I'd risk getting caught by a hundred alphas and betas in order to see you again." He added, flashing her a charming grin and tilting his head to the side as he watched the beautiful female beside him. He wasn't at all worried about running into Blitz or Inferno right now, for their scents were very far away, and even if he did, he knew he could likely outrun them. Plus, it could be fairly fun to flee the two males. But for now, he focused on Laek, smiling and licking the base of her ear affectionately as her scent filled his nose.

Laek smiled as she slightly shook her head. The wolf was crazy! But the reason for his risks only made the situation better, somewhat exciting. Laek knew the game they were playing could end terribly for the both of them, but she tried to forget as she flicked her ears. She was just incredibly glad to see him, his handsome figure in the moonlight. She wondered why he wouldn't just encounter the alpha and beta, and just join the pack. But she knew how he was, and wasn't so sure if that would work out the way she pictured it. She buried her nose in her fur before asking, "So how have you been out there?"

He smiled as she buried her nose in his fur, enjoying the closeness of her body to his. When she spoke, he licked the top of her head affectionately and sighed. "Lonely." He said softly, nuzzling her and resting his head over her neck, gently pulling her closer to him in a sort of 'hug'. He closed his eyes as he pressed his nose into her fur, inhaling her scent and smiling as he exhaled. She smelled so wonderful, and he couldn't get enough of being closer to her. Not to mention that all the pack females were in heat and driving the males crazy.

(grrr, sorry it's short)

Laek lightly chuckled as Casanova pulled her closer. He was lonely? Even more reason to join the pack, no? She let herself lean into him, breathing in his scent. "Why don't you stay?" She said quietly after letting a long moment of comfortable silence pass. She rose her head and attempted to look at him lying around her shoulders. But was unsuccessful, so she dealt with his neck, which was all she could see. She gave him a small affectionate lick, burying her nose into his fur once again.

(Mer, mine's short as well.)

Cas sighed softly as Laek spoke of him staying, shaking his head slighlty. "Laek, babe, you know I'd never fit in here." He said softly, nibbling the base of her ear gently as he spoke. "Plus, if you haven't noticed already, I have a big problem with authority." He said, lifting his head to look down at her. There were reasons why he never decided to join, plus, he knew the Beta knew his scent and would kick him out in an instant before he could even ask to join. He didn't know what to tell her, but he knew that she smelled wonderful and everything about her drew him in closer, keeping him from leaving her again. But he knew that he would, how could he stay? It would never work. But for now, he just enjoyed the closeness and the affection, lowering his muzzle to groom her gently and slowly.

Laek sighed as he gave the same reasons he always gave. Why was authority such a problem with him? She never bothered to ask. Why did he have to be such a runner? She would never know. But she did knew he'd leave soon, he'd leave her again. And so she tried to enjoy the moment, letting him groom her fur. She didn't know what to say to him. She'd already sort of tried to get him to stay, and that hadn't worked out. She couldn't ask him again, and she wouldn't plead or beg. That wouldn't be proper. She turned and nudged Casanova before slowly lying down on the ground. She pawed at him to lie down as well.

Cas smiled as she laid down, slowly laying beside her as the stars and moon came up and made the meadow feel all the more romantic. He curled around her, nuzzling her neck and gently nibbling the base of her ear, inhaling her scent and trying his best to stay calm. All the pack females were in heat, and she was driving him crazy, but he managed to control himself well enough. "Laek, it's getting late." He whispered softly, licking the base of her ear before gently nibbling slowly down her neck to her shoulders, his body curled tightly around her, holding her close.

"I know." Laek answered softly as she smiled, leaning over onto his paws as he wrapped himself around her. She was comfortable here in the meadow with him. She would be okay until the next time she saw him, she knew. She looked up at him, and reached up to give him a lick. Then dropped her head back to his paws and closed her eyes, burying her face into his strange fur. "I know it's late, Casanova." She said, mumbling through his fur.

Cas smiled as she rested against him and buried her face in his fur, enjoying the feeling of her against him. "How about we got to my den for the night? It's getting pretty cold out here. The pack won't miss you for one night." He said softly, nuzzling her neck and nudging her encouragingly. There was nothing he wanted more than to get her back to his den, and he definitely didn't want to leave her, not yet. He licked her cheek, slowly getting to his feet and nudging her shoulder. "Come on, they won't even notice you're gone. Plus, I've been wanting to spend more time with you for a long time. I've missed you, Laek. Please don't end this night so soon..." He said, softly pleading with her to go with him, but doing so in a more seductive way than a pathetic one.

Laek smiled, letting out somewhat of a little laugh. She rose to her feet and pushed Casanova, as she quietly debated with herself in her head. She remembered the last time they'd spent a night together, Inferno and Blitz were so worried about her. And she was even closer with the pack now, how would they feel if she was gone for just one night? She didn't want to worry the pack, but she wanted to spend more time with Casanova. She looked, panicked, in the direction of the dens. But she quickly smoothed it over and looked at him, "Why not? Let's go." She rubbed against his side before heading towards the forests near the borders.

Cas frowned as he watched her panicked expression as she looked back at the dens. But he approached her anyways, licking her cheek affectionately and whining softly. When she turned and agreed, and even headed off to the borders, he smiled. His tail wagged as he trotted after her, catching up quickly and nipping playfully at her side as he came up beside her. They weren't far from the borders, and as he walked beside her he turned to lick her neck and face occasionally, excited that she had actually agreed. They crossed the border quickly, reaching one of his dens not too long after. He stopped at the entrance, licking her cheek before entering and waiting for her to join him. It wasn't huge, but still large enough fof him to stand up on his hind legs if he wanted, giving them more than enough room for the both of them to spend the night. "Welcome to one of my dens, my dear." He said softly, sitting down and watching her, smiling as his eyes scanned over her beautiful form.

Laek smiled the whole trip to his den, as he continued to lick her. She'd made him happy by coming, she knew. As he introduced his den, she looked around. It wasn't the same one she'd shared with him before. Then she realized he said 'one of my dens,' and figured that he just had many dens. She walked in after him and nuzzled against his side before turning around to face the entrance. She laid down, and looked up at him with a smile. She then turned to look at the den they were in. It was quite spacious, but not huge. It was larger than the single wolf den she chose to stay in, but accepted it, since she were sharing it with Casanova. He was looking just as silly as he had looked to Laek the first day she met him. But now she saw the strange handsomeness that came with it.

Cas smiled as she entered the den, his eyes following her every movement. He tried to give her space, but that wasn't possible right now, so he walked over to her, nuzzling her neck and nibbling it gently. His tail wagged lightly as he sat beside her, hugging her again and pulling her closer. "I'm really glad you agreed to come spend the night with me, Laek." He said softly, grooming her slowly and murring softly as he inhaled her scent. She smelled so wonderful. He was definitely going to remember this night during the long lonely nights that they were separated. But for now, he was going to enjoy being close to her.

Laek rolled over onto her back and pawed at Casanova to lay down, instead of sitting. Her tail swayed, brushing the ground as she rolled onto her side, back to Casanova. As he was leaning over to groom her, she reached over and nibbled his ear, whispering to him, "Of course I came, Cas. Why wouldn't I want to?" she smiled, all worries of the pack left outside of the den. She licked his cheek, not yet regretting any time she'd spent with him.

Cas smiled as she laid down and pawed at him, licking her nose and laying down beside her, using his muzzle to pull her closer to him and cuddle around her. He then began to groom her fur, murring happily and wagging his tail lightly as he laid close to her. She smelled so wonderful, and he didn't want this night to end. But he knew come morning, she would wake, and he would already be gone. He had no choice, for the pack would never accept him, and his life was meant to be lived alone. Well, for the most part at least, except for these cherished moments with Laek that he enjoyed right now.

(sooo how exactly do we want to do this? Just skip it and say they woke up in the morning and she was preggo?)

(I think that would work.)

Laek smiled as they let the silence be comfortable around them as they cuddled. Her tail swayed next to Casanova's, and she leaned over his paws. Shutting her eyes, she buried herself in his fur once more. It was him and her, together in the night. She'd purposefully snuck out of the pack lands, even though it wasn't hard to, just to spend time with Casanova. The moment was perfect. But would he be gone in the morning? Or would he stay with her like last time? She didn't want him to leave, but he wouldn't let her convince him to stay. "Will you stay here with me?" she whispered, doubt showing in her voice.

Cas looked down at her with a soft sigh as she spoke. "Laek..." He said softly, licking her forehead tenderly as he tried to piece together the words. Finally he groaned, letting his head fall to rest over her back. "I'll be here when you wake up, I promise." He said softly, the words uttered in defeat as her pleading and worried voice broke him down. He just couldn't bring himself to tell her that he wouldn't be there. So that was that, he'd still be there in the morning. But he wouldn't go with her back to the pack. No, he couldn't do that. "Now love, just relax." He said softly, returning to grooming her, wanting nothing more than to be close to her.

(skip time)

Cas woke early that morning, rising quietly to his feet, trying his best not to wake her. When he made it away, he exited the den, quickly moving off into the trees. He ran off away from the pack borders, his nose to the ground as he searched for prey. Soon he chanced upon a pair of small hares, and he killed them quickly, turning back towards his temporary den and the female he had just spent the night with.

Laek didn't budge when Casanova left the den, but slowly woke up at the smell of a fresh kill. Or two, rather. She lifted her head, and blinked a few times to focus Cas and the small hares he carried. She rose to her feet slowly, and walked up to him, nuzzling against his neck. She grabbed a hare with her mouth and gently pulled it away from him. Plopping down on the ground to eat it, she looked up at him. "Sleep well?" She asked with a smile, remembering the night.

Cas returned to the den with the hares, smiling at the sleeping female that he returned to. She lifted her head as he entered, and he released a hare as she took it and began to eat. He smiled as she nuzzled him dropping his hare to lick her cheek before picking it up again and laying beside her to eat. He devoured the meat quickly, licking his lips and smiling down at her. "I slept wonderful last night. How did you sleep, love?" He asked, nibbling the base of her ear and starting to groom her fur affectionately as she ate.

Laek smiled as she finished her hare, a lot slower than Casanova had. "I slept just as wonderfully." She pushed aside the bones for disposal later, and looked at him. She licked his neck as he groomed her. Her tail began to sway lightly, brushing the ground. Lake was happy. Casanova had kept his promise to stay in the morning, and they'd spent a wonderful night together. She knew she had to value the moment right now, as she placed her head into his paws.

Cas smiled as she confirmed that she had enjoyed the night, and rested her head on his paws. He licked her neck affectively, his tail wagging lightly as he enjoyed the moment. "Laek, while I was hunting, I neared the border just to check up on the pack happenings. There's a group of wolves looking for you. It sounded like they were putting together a hunting party. You shouldn't stay long. I would hate for you to get in trouble for staying outside of the pack lands with me." He said, lifting his head and looking down at her. Finally he got to his feet, sighing softly. "I'll take you back to the borders." He said, obviously unhappy about the thought of leaving her again, but if she didn't leave soon, the pack wolves would find him and then he'd have no hope of surviving to see her again. He had spotted two very large males in the group, and he could tell that neither looked very forgiving.
